The Sustainable Creamery has a proud family history of over 80 years of commercializing and manufacturing plant-based foods. The current 24,000 square foot state-of-the-art facility dedicated to manufacturing 100% plant-based products is strategically located in Cambridge, Ontario.

The Sustainable Creamery facility location provides clients ease of distribution to all regions within the Golden Horseshoe including Toronto, Canada’s largest city. In addition, the facility is only 132kms/82miles from the Niagara Falls US Border providing efficient distribution to cities throughout the American Northeast from Chicago to New York.

The Sustainable Creamery offers private labeling services based on the successful and tested formulations of numerous plant-based foods, beverages, yogurts, and spreads.

Commercial Contract
Manufacturing

The Sustainable Creamery also offers Commercial Contract Manufacturing services for large scale batch sizes up to 12,000kg. In addition, larger scale projects and joint venture opportunities requiring specific equipment or infrastructure investment are welcomed.

Support

When clients are ready to take their proprietary recipes to the next stage of commercialization, The Sustainable Creamery provides Benchtop Research and Development support by leveraging the 80 plus years of plant based food manufacturing experience.

Optimization

When clients are ready to increase their plant-based foods and beverage production volumes, The Sustainable Creamery offers Scale-Up Process Optimization services for minimum batch sizes of 100kg.

The Sustainable Creamery History

1940

The Sustainable Creamery dates back three generations to the pioneers of the world's first ever commercial soy-milk manufacturing company.

1998

The Sustainable Creamery's co-founders and brothers (Erik & Francis Lo) took their first formal step in joining their family's heritage by entering the "Project Soy Plus" competition at the University of Guelph.

2002

The Sustainable Creamery started manufacturing plant-based products in a modest 8,850 square foot facility.

2020

As demand increased, The Sustainable Creamery transferred operations to a brand new state-of-the-art custom built 24,000 square foot facility strategically located in Cambridge, Ontario
